Course Summary

The course is structured to guide a trainee pilot with little or no experience to be able to handle advanced jet airliner aircraft.

Career Prospects

The aim of the ATPL Theory CPL/ME/IR course is to train pilots to the level of proficiency necessary to enable them to operate as co-pilot on multi-pilot multi-engine airplanes in commercial air transport and to obtain the CPL/ME/IR.

Modules

Modules Contained in the ATPL/CPL/ME/IR Course are:
• PPL
• ATPL Theoretical Knowledge training
• Hour Building
• Commercial Pilot License with Instrument and Multi Engine Rating (CPL/IR/MEP)
• Night Rating
• Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (UPRT)
These items combined are the minimum entry requirements to join an airline as a cadet

Assessment Method

PPL
The PPL Theory course comprises of 100 of self-study and classroom training 90/10:
• Subjects
• Examinations
PPL Course includes a minimum of 45 Flying Hours divided in:
• 35 hours dual time and
• 10 hours solo time
ATPL THEORY
The ATPL Theory course comprises of 650 hours of self-study and classroom training 90/10:
• 13 Subjects
• 13 Examinations
HOUR BULIDING - FLIGHT TRAINING - PILOT IN COMMAND
• 105 Hours PIC Single Engine
CPL/ ME/IR FLIGHT TRAINING
The flight training comprises of 70 hours.
• Single Engine Hours: 10
• Multi Engine Hours: 26
• Multi Engine Simulator Hours: 40
The phases of Flight Training are:
• Basic Flying Skills
• Navigation
• VFR Pilot-in-Command
• Night Rating
• Instrument Rating
ADVANCED UPRT - FLIGHT TRAINING
• Advanced UPRT

Qualification requirements
PRE-ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Before acceptance onto the ATPL/CPL/ME/IR Training programme, cadets must be at least 18 years of age and successfully complete the following Pre-entry assessments:
• Mathematics and Physics (science)
• English language.
• EASA Class 1 Medical Examination
