Course Summary

Applicants for a cabin crew attestation will complete an initial training course to familiarise themselves with the aviation environment and to acquire sufficient general knowledge and basic proficiency required to perform the duties and discharge the responsibilities related to the safety of passengers and flight during normal, abnormal and emergency operations.

The aim of the Initial Cabin Crew Attestation Course is to train future cabin crew to the level of proficiency necessary to enable them to safely accomplish their tasks and responsibilities for the safety of passengers in normal as well as emergency situations.

 General theoretical knowledge of aviation
 Communication
 Crew Resource Management (CRM)
 Passenger handling and cabin surveillance
 Aero-medical aspects and first-aid
 Dangerous goods
 General security aspects in aviation
 Fire and smoke training
 Survival training

Assessment Method

Applicants for a Cabin Crew Attestation shall undergo an examination covering all elements of the training programme to demonstrate that they have attained the level of knowledge and proficiency required to perform the duties and discharge the responsibilities related to the safety of passengers and flight during normal, abnormal and emergency operations.

How to apply

This is a fulltime course that has duration of 15 working days. 
The course is flexible regarding the location. Larnaca, Cyprus. Based in Larnaca, Cyprus, CA Aviation Academy can deliver the training of the new cabin crew at the training centers of the academy.
The academy can deliver the training at the country of choice of the airline. Our trainers shall come to your base to train the newly hired cabin crew.
Individuals who wish to take the course can apply and receive the information about the next Initial Cabin Crew course. The course for single members or small groups takes place at CA training center (Larnaca, Cyprus).

Entry requirements

Qualification requirements
What is required to apply for the Initial EASA Cabin Crew Attestation course?
  • The applicant for a cabin crew attestation shall be at least 18 years of age
  • The applicant must hold a valid EASA Cabin Crew medical certificate.

English language requirements

  • The applicant shall be able to demonstrate the ability to use the English language.
