About us
My name is Christina Papadjiakou, and I come from Limassol. Most members of my family are musicians. Therefore I couldn't avoid loving and working in the field of music.
I started piano and theory lessons at the age of 5. I participated in many musical events at my school and extracurricular music activities.
In 2003 I began my studies at Nottingham University, United Kingdom, where I graduated in 2006 with a BA Hons in Music degree. In 2010, I graduated from Boston University, USA, with a Music and Music and Education MA.
Since 2006 I have taught piano, vocals, and theory of music in music schools and my own space.
Apart from teaching, I am a member of two bands, singing and playing the piano and performing in several festivals and music events. My colleagues and I perform music at private events, parties, and receptions.
I also voluntarily teach adults with mental disabilities at Apostolos Loukas Institute.

Differentiation points
Something that might make a difference in how I teach is probably my experience as a performer because I can see the precise needs and skills that a student must acquire to better cope with the possibility of being on stage, as well as taking an exam or giving a simple presentation. Our goal is not just to have an exam at the end of the year but to teach students how to create, gain self-confidence, perform in front of an audience, and love the art called Music truly.
