About us

Yiangou Educational Hall was established in 2006. Our premises are located in Engomi, Nicosia. The Institute offers a modern, comfortable and friendly environment, where the education of the student is the priority of the teacher. Teaching excellence is our key to success! 

Our motto is that “actions speak louder than words”, therefore, our students are actively engaged in the process of learning. Every lesson is “Time for English”!!!

Awards & Recognitions

Εvery year our students achieve high scores both in their final and external examinations. Their grades not only make us proud, but also give us strength to move on and work harder. Our students are awarded full or partial scholarships in Cyprus from Anglia Examinations England every year.

The European University of Cyprus and the Frederick University are offering partial scholarships to Anglia Exams students. These scholarships cover 25-75% of the tuition fees, depending on the students' Apolyterion grade.

Differentiation points

Through careful lesson planning and teaching, we make certain that our students improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in order to be well prepared for their external examinations (Anglia exams, IGCSE, IELTS). Great importance is given to conversational skills, as this is in general the weak point of most students who attend various language centres.

Our target is to make certain that our students think in English when they speak or write English.

Our mission is to:

• Offer to our students knowledge and experience in order to obtain recognized certificates in the English language PROFICIENCY (Anglia), IGCSE & IELTS (Cambridge), which are going to be useful in their future studies in Cyprus or abroad and/or career.

• Inform our students and their parents thoroughly and in the right way about their choices regarding the Universities.

• Contribute to the cultivation of self-esteem and independence of our students in order to make them capable of coping with the challenges of our times.
