There is no need to be concerned about transportation in Cyprus because it is a relatively small island that allows for travel by car, bus, or even bicycle.

Because of the short distances between cities, Cyprus has not developed a transportation system like other European countries. The longest distance between resort towns is approximately 170 kilometers (from Ayia Napa to Paphos).
The car is the transportation option of choice for the majority of Cypriots. Many people, however, prefer city buses because they save money. Taxis are increasingly popular among students and tourists. However, many students prefer to travel by city bus because there are routes that stop at almost all universities.
Travel costs are low in comparison to other European countries, making studying in Cyprus an even more attractive option. Monthly transportation costs typically range from 20 to 40 euros for Students.
